Sex Ratio in India

  Sex Ratio is the ratio of no. of males to females in a population. Sex ratio is used to describe the number of females per 1000 of males. As per provisional census data of 2011, the national average sex ratio shows an increase from 933 in 2001 to 940 in 2011. The population ratio in India 2011 is 940 females per 1000 of males.
